Experienced Teachers in Need of Certification
After a complete evaluation of your file, a TESOL Canada Equivalency TCEQ Certificate can be provided based on your Prior Learning, Teaching Experience, Practicum Credits, Methodologies, Research & Publication Credits and other TESOL studies. To qualify for certification, any additional courses that you might need will be recommended.
Becoming a TESOL Trainer
TESOL Canada Trainer Certificate TCTC provides mentorship education in teaching TESOL program to TESOL trainees, developing leadership, training skills and overall representation of TESOL Canada standards. Prerequisites are Prior Teaching Experience, knowledge of Methodologies, Certificate in TESOL and having an Undergraduate Degree.
Certified Teachers in Need of Membership
TESOL Canada's Membership is available for TESOL graduates from Accredited TESOL Institutions. A minimum of 150 hours in TESOL education is required. Teaching experience can be an added value. Applicants that have completed less than 150 hours in TESOL studies may apply to TESOL Canada's upgrades prior to their Membership.
Postgraduate Studies
TESOL Canada Accredited Institutions provide educational upgrades that can advance your professional development. You might consider Postgraduate Diplomas, Master's or Ph.D. studies in TESOL, TEC, TBE, TFSOL, TASOL, TCSOL, TSSOL, Doctor of Education in Academic Leadership, Translation CIT, MBA in Education, M.Ed in TESOL, or Ph.D. in TESOL, TCSOL or TASOL.
