TESOL Canada Board Exam

Goals and Standards

The TESOL Board Exam is intended to assess the academic knowledge and the teaching skills of TESOL Canada's membership and accreditation candidates. The Evaluation process of TESOL graduates is a stepping stone in standardizing TESOL & ESL education both in Canada & abroad. Stronger educational leaders and more proficient teachers are formed through higher standards and more efficient evaluations. TESOL Canada's Board Exam TCBE provides TESOL Accreditation Certificates and TESOL Equivalency Certificates to the graduates of all recognized TESOL institutions. TCBE Board Exams are conducted online and supervised in various Canadian & International organizations.

Note: TESOL Canada is a membership-based accreditation organization and does not directly offer TESOL Certificate programs to students.
Applicants are advised to contact one of our accredited institutions.

TCBE TESOL Canada Board Exams

TESOL Board Exam is required of both native or non-native graduates with or without teaching experience.

EXPERIENCED TEACHERS

Teachers Advanced Standing Evaluation "TASE" is a process through which TESOL Canada can evaluate, validate and credit applicants previous teaching experiences toward completion of a TESOL Certification Program. Once TASE is complete, to be accredited and certified, teachers would need to pass the TCBE TESOL Canada's Board Exam.
